My name is Madelyn Schneider and I’m a reporter covering city government and other assignments for the Johnson City Press in Johnson City, Tennessee.

I fell in love with journalism while writing for the University of North Florida’s student-run media outlet, Spinnaker, where I served as editor-in-chief for nearly two years. I earned my B.A. in English at UNF in December 2025.
